Just who is that masked man?

A perennial fan favorite with children of all ages The Maverick is one of the most unique  individuals in the wild and wacky world of Professional Wrestling due to his unpredictable style and boundless energy.

Maverick began his professional career in 1994 after training with journeyman wrestler Ben Ortiz.  Over the next several years he continued to hone his skills, working regular shows for Iron Mike Sharpe's GSWA school and "Executioner #1" Tom Rumsbey's ALL-Star Wrestling School.

Throughout the 90's and early 2000's Mav became a staple of the northeast, wrestling for Many promotions throughout PA, Del, NJ and MD including, the NWA, WWSA, FWF, WWWA, Soul City Wrestling, ACPW, DWF, RAW, BWO, and Liberty All-Star wrestling where he became a mainstay and popular attraction.

In the late 90's Mav promoted many successful benefit shows for Cerebral Palsy Association of Delaware County (now CADES) under the AAW banner.

In 2005 Mav started Slamtastic Wrestling Parties, the first company to specialize in Birthday parties featuring real professional wrestlers.  Slamtastic also promoted several fundraisers and benefit shows. Today Slamtastic is a popular birthday party company offering balloon art and theme parties.

Outside the ring Maverick is a popular event host and entertainer.  For several years was the special auctioneer of the annual anniversary auction for the comic book store Comic Universe.  He's also been a guest on LAW Top Rope Radio, and Totally Driven Radio. He's also a columnist and blogger, writing wrestling and comic book columns for the Comic Universe newsletter, Totally Driven Entertainment, and Completely Damaged.  He also hosted his own radio show The Comic Book Squad with his longtime tag team partner "Super" Frank Cody. He co-hosted LAW Retro Wrestling Radio. and was the host and creator of Maverick's Comic Roundup and Galactic Clubhouse podcasts.
Over the years The Maverick has also hosted and/or organized numerous fundraisers and charitable events for Alex's Lemonade, Toys for Tots, March of Dimes, CADES, PAL and many others.
